The island of Ireland has welcomed visiting productions of all shapes and sizes for many years. From big US blockbuster movies and TV shows like Game of Thrones and Vikings to the smallest commercial and stills shoots – they all get the same excellent welcome and service.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with producers of all sorts for the production of cutting-edge entertainment programming and innovative commercials for leading production houses.
The reasons for filming in Ireland are many, but top draws that keep commercial companies coming back are the locations, cost-effective production, the small size of the country and close proximity of really varied locations along with high-quality English-speaking crew. Lush rural landscapes and fantastic studios lie within a 30-minute drive of Dublin city centre. The amazing light, particularly on the west coast, makes for a deliciously long ‘magic hour’.
We’re also resourceful, with a trained eye to find unique locations beyond our borders for brands like Virgin with a brief set on filming a drone at an airfield.
PSN Ireland is the base for productions in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Dublin and Belfast are just over a 2-hour drive distance. The whole island is our oyster!

Dara’s career in production spans decades—though it might be impolite to say exactly how many! Primarily based in Ireland, Dara recently, worked on Napoleon and Gladiator 2 in the UK and Malta with the incomparable Sir Ridley Scott. She also spent several memorable years running a production company in Nairobi, Kenya. Dara has worked on every continent and hosted clients from across the globe in Ireland, where she offers unmatched production services for film, commercial, still, and promo productions.
[cont.] Educated in Ireland and Italy, she started out as an eager PA at a commercial production company, steadily climbing the ranks to producer. Subsequently, she spent several years in feature film production, eventually returning to her first love: creating ads.
Today, she enjoys an ideal balance, bringing her deep production knowledge to both commercial and film production.
